Abstract
The road traffic environment factors that affect the speed limit value of expressway mainly include visibility and friction coefficient, plane alignment, vertical section alignment, lane number, lane position, traffic volume and traffic composition. These factors are random and uncontrollable, so a multi-factor expressway speed limit model based on fuzzy control is constructed. This paper calculates the correction coefficient of each factor to the reference speed limit value by establishing the stopping line-of-sight model and the method of regression analysis. The speed limit value of fuzzy logic control model was established, selected 20 typical sections using fuzzy algorithm obtains the influence factors of total correction coefficient in the MATLAB environment, respectively to calculate the fuzzy control model and the traditional model of speed limit value, and comparative analysis of the two algorithms to verify the feasibility and rationality of the proposed model in this paper.
