10th International Congress of Plant Pathology (ICPP 2013)

It is my pleasure to invite you to attend the 10th International Congress of Plant Pathology (ICPP) in Beijing, China in August 2013. The theme of the Congress is “Biosecurity, Food Safety and Plant Pathology: The Role of Plant Pathology in a Globalized Economy”. We will also incorporate the Annual Meeting of the Chinese Society for Plant Pathology. Beijing, as the capital of China, and a city of international reputation, has more than 200 first-class hotels and international convention centers. Nowadays, many international scientific and cultural exhibitions and meetings are held in Beijing. Room rates for these hotels will range from US$ 50-200. CSPP will recruit many sponsors for financial support to lower the registration fees as much as possible. The registration fee will include attendance at all Scientific Meetings, abstracts of Congress papers (proceeding and CD-ROM), five lunches, coffee breaks, exhibition access, souvenir and welcome reception. Student registration covers all but the proceeding of Congress papers. A Bursary Fund will also be available to assist attendance of students and delegates from developing countries. Participants can also enjoy the world famous attractions in and around Beijing, such as the Great Wall, Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, etc. Delegates will find very enthusiastic hosts and peace-loving friendly people in China. Now Beijing has attracted increasing international attention recently because it hosted the Olympic Games in 2008.
