Abstract
持久性有机污染物 (POP) 往往通过称为“冷冷凝”和“全球蒸馏”的过程在寒冷地区积累。土壤有机质是 POP 沉积和随后的反复气表交换后的主要储存库。本研究探讨了理化性质和环境因子对青藏高原以及南极和北极地区土壤中持久性有机污染物积累的影响。我们的研究结果揭示了大多数 POPs 的土壤负荷与稳定的矿物相关有机质 (MAOM) 之间存在显着相关性。通过将 MAOM 的比例与理化性质相结合,我们可以阐明 POPs 的大部分土壤分布特征。使用全球土壤数据库估计持久性有机污染物的背景水平表明,稳定的土壤碳库是持久性有机污染物全球分布的关键决定因素,可以抵消“冷阱”效应。我们建议未来 POPs 的多媒体环境模型应结合土壤碳库的组成,以更好地评估在不断变化的气候条件下土壤中释放的次生 POPs 风险。
