Abstract
This study focuses on the biodiversity and community structure of benthic organisms in the coastal waters and intertidal zones of Zhangzhou. Sampling was conducted at 112 stations in 6 intertidal areas (Sidu, Qianlou, Dongshan, Shentu, Xiamei, Longhai) and 3 coastal areas (Zhaoan, Dongshan, Zhangpu) in May 2021 (spring) and October-November 2021 (autumn). Benthic biodiversity and community structure were analyzed based on abundance and biomass data. The results will provide valuable insights for understanding the status of the coastal marine ecosystem, and offer baseline data for further studies.
