Abstract
The Bohai Bay is deeply affected by land-based sources of pollutants and global climate change. It has a direct impact on the capacity of carbon sequestration through primary production (photosynthesis) that phytoplankton carbon biomass responds to the changes in environmental factors. Phytoplankton carbon biomass in Bohai Bay with the Chl-a estimation method was calculated from estuaries and nearshore in 2013 and 2020. To analyse the coupling relationship between phytoplankton carbon biomass and environmental data such as temperature, salinity, nutrients and so on. Predictions of the transportation patterns of phytoplankton carbon biomass using the MaxEnt model in conjunction with IPCC future climate environment simulation data. The aim is to understand the impact of pollutants from land-based rivers and climate change on the carbon sink contributed by phytoplankton in Bohai Bay .
