Abstract
Marine ecological protection public welfare organizations play an irreplaceable role in protecting marine ecosystems and promoting sustainable ocean use. The BlueRibbon Ocean Conservation Association, as a representative of China's marine conservation public welfare organizations, directly affects the work effectiveness of the association and the overall progress of marine ecological protection through the competence and quality of its employees. By introducing the business activities of BlueRibbon, it reflects the abilities and qualities that practitioners should possess, and analyzing the ability needs of practitioners, which helps to deepen the understanding of the human resource characteristics required for marine ecological protection public welfare undertakings.
