In recent years, model predictive control (MPC) has emerged as a powerful approach for encoderless permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drives. However, conventional MPC cannot seamlessly incorporate high‐frequency signal injection (HFSI), resulting in unstable encoderless operation at zero and low speeds. To address this limitation, we propose a multi-vector predictive encoderless scheme that simply combines multiple predictive voltage vectors with injected high-frequency signals for accurate rotor‐position estimation. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method effectively injects high-frequency voltage signals and achieves stable encoderless operation in the zero- and low-speed regions.
