Abstract
The conventional deadbeat predictive current control (DPCC) requires high accuracy of parameters. However, in the applications of rail transaction systems, the system parameters are variable frequently. Besides, in the direct-drive rail traction system, the certain frequency harmonic torque leads to the electromechanical coupled resonance. To achieve high robustness and harmonic torque suppression, simultaneously, the enhanced extended state observer (EESO) is embedded in DPCC. Firstly, the mismatches of the parameters are considered as the disturbance in the system. Then, an EESO, which can predict the current in the next instant and the disturbance caused by parameter mismatch, is established. By combining the extended state observer (ESO) with the quasi-resonant controller in d-axis and q-axis, replacing the sampled current, the harmonic component at certain frequencies can be observed and compensated by the DPCC. Finally, a DPCC-EESO is proposed to improve the robustness and harmonic torque suppression abilities, while improve the dynamic and steady-state performances.
