Abstract
Conventional model predictive control applies only one voltage vector in a cycle. Moreover, the switching frequency of the conventional model predictive control is not fixed, which can cause many problems. Based on the space vector modulation technique, an improved model predictive current method is proposed. Compared with the traditional method, this method selects three voltage vectors in each cycle and calculates the action time of each vector according to the cost function, which realizes the fixed switching frequency. Simulation experimental results show that the proposed model predictive controller have better steady-state and dynamic performance.
