The 20th International Conference on Waste Management and Technology

With the increasing volume and complexity of solid waste posing significant environmental and health challenges, international collaboration and knowledge exchange have become more critical than ever. To advance the sharing of "Zero-waste City" best practices and foster cooperation on innovative solutions within the solid waste sector, the 20th International Conference on Waste Management and Technology (ICWMT 20), organized by Basel Convention Regional Centre for Asia and the Pacific (BCRC China), will take place from July 5th to 8th , 2025, in Beijing China. 

The ICWMT 20 contains a three-day plenary, parallel plenary, 50 sessions, technical visits and brand exhibitions. The event will invite more than 10 academicians, 400 leading researchers, government officials and leading enterprise representatives to deliver keynote presentations on pivotal topics such as solid waste management, chemicals, circular economy and emerging contaminants. Over 3,000 participants are expected to attend, and we warmly welcome experts and scholars in the field of solid waste management to join us at the conference.
