第三届工程结构振动舒适度学术会议

The 2nd Academic Conference on Vibration Serviceability of Engineering Structures was successfully held in Urumqi, Xinjiang from July 27 to 30, 2023. The conference was organized by the Human-Induced Vibration Engineering Committee of the Chinese Society for Vibration Engineering, co-hosted by Tongji University, Xinjiang University, and Beijing Jiaotong University, and supported by Hunan University and Zhengzhou University. A total of 76 presentations were arranged. Academician Li Jie of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Professor at Tongji University delivered the keynote plenary lecture. Invited plenary lectures were given by Prof. Teng Jun (Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen), Prof. Zhao Lin (Tongji University), Prof. Zhang Guangtai (Xinjiang University), Prof. Hua Xugang (Hunan University), and Prof. Yang Na (Beijing Jiaotong University). Additionally, 24 renowned experts in the field delivered invited talks. The conference attracted over 150 participants from more than 70 universities and enterprises.

Presentation topics covered theoretical research, engineering case studies, and discussions on codes and standards related to human-induced vibration, wind-induced vibration of structures, railway-induced vibration, vibration serviceability evaluation, and design guidelines — representing a comprehensive and rich academic exchange in this field. The conference received sponsorship and support from Buildings journal, GERB (Qingdao) Vibration Control Co., Ltd., Shanghai Stirling Building Seismic Reduction Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Siqu Zhixin Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing BOKO Test System Co., Ltd., Guangdong Weibot Acoustic Technology Co., Ltd., and Xinjiang Tongxin Jishi Technology Co., Ltd. Participants unanimously agreed that research on "vibration serviceability of engineering structures" possesses high academic value and practical significance, warranting vigorous development and in-depth investigation.

The 3rd Academic Conference on Vibration Serviceability of Engineering Structures is scheduled to be held in Wuhan in 2025, jointly hosted by Wuhan Institute of Technology and Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
