Introduction

The 4th Symposium on Electrochemical Energy Conversion of Chinese Chemical Society, jointly organized by the Electrochemistry Division of Chinese Chemical Society and Guangdong University of Technology, and hosted by the School of Light Industry and Chemical Engineering and the School of Materials and Energy, will be held from March 27–30, 2026 at the Chimelong International Convention and Exhibition Center in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. The symposium will focus on the theme “Deep Innovation of Electrochemical Energy Systems to Promote High-Quality Development of New Quality Productive Forces”, covering academic exchanges in areas including lithium/sodium-ion batteries, solid-state batteries, electrocatalysis and electrosynthesis, and electrochemical theory, computation and characterization. It aims to foster interdisciplinary innovation in energy conversion and support China’s clean energy development and industrial structural transformation. The Organizing Committee warmly invites domestic and international experts, scholars, researchers, and industry professionals in the field of electrochemical energy conversion to gather in Guangzhou for this prestigious event.

Guidlines

1. Submissions must present clear arguments, sufficient evidence, well-defined formulas, accurate data, clear figures/tables, and concise language. SI units shall be used; symbols should follow national standards.
2. Indicate the primary category (A–G) in the top-left corner of the manuscript.
3. Total length—including ~250-word abstract, figures/tables, and references—must not exceed 2000 words. Submit electronic manuscripts only.
4. Manuscripts will not be returned regardless of acceptance status; authors are advised to retain copies.
5. Papers previously published in journals, books, or presented at national conferences are ineligible. Simultaneous submission is prohibited.
6. Submission deadline: March 1, 2026. Send manuscripts electronically to zhipengwen@gdut.edu.cn.
7. Include full mailing address, postal code, home/office/mobile phone numbers, and email address at the end of the manuscript.
8. Notification of acceptance will be issued by April 15, 2026.
