12th International Conference on Inorganic Scintillators and their Applications

On behalf of Conference Organizing Committee, it is our privilege to invite you to the 12th International Conference on Inorganic Scintillators and their Applications - SCINT 2013 - to be held during April 15-19, 2013 in Shanghai Galaxy Hotel (888# West ZhongShan Road), Shanghai, China. We are honored to host this event and look forward to welcome our friends and colleagues from around the world. The conference will be organized and sponsored by the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SICCAS). Following the tradition, the conference will focus on new development and hopefully trigger new insights and ideas of scintillators and their never ending applications. The conference will bring together the experts on scintillator materials developments and mechanisms as well as those who are involved in application R & D. Scintillation detectors based on scintillators have strong impact not only in traditional nuclear and high energy physics researches, but also in our daily medical checking, diagnosis and therapy as well as in various applications associated with industry and homeland security. We hope that the conference will provide chances for the experts in the whole community to have fruitful communications and in the mean time to attract young researchers or students of different field to involve in this prosperous field. We are looking forward to excellent contributions and presentations.
