The International Conference on Airworthiness and Fatigue (ICAF-2013)

The International Conference on Airworthiness and Fatigue (ICAF-2013) will take place at Beijing Friendship Hotel, Beijing, China, March 25-27, 2013. Abstracts for the Conference are now being accepted until December 22, 2012 on topics related to Airworthiness and Fatigue. Design and manufacturing know-how are material specific. Fatigue crack growth technology of metals has been known to differ from that of advanced composites. The 21st century marks the era where ultra high strength and light weight composites and alloys will be used more sparingly for fabricating jet transports to enhance fuel efficiency. Fatigue crack initiation and propagation may become comparably significant. The main objective of this international conference is to provide a global forum for researchers, engineers, manufacturers, and administrators from jet transport sector and research institutions to present their issues that are not only technical and managerial interactive but also affected by inter-cultural differences.
