VI International Symposium on the Taxonomy of Cultivated Plants

It is our great pleasure to invite you to attend the VI International Symposium on the Taxonomy of Cultivated Plants scheduled 15-19 July 2013 in Beijing, China. The Symposium will focus on identification, evaluation, classification and nomenclature of cultivated plants, as well as cultivar registration and cultivated plants information storage and retrieval, - all topics related to taxonomy that facilitates the studies, breeding, Plant Breeders’ Right protection, production, marketing and ultimately, utilization and consumption of agricultural, forestry and horticultural plants and their products, and thus leads us to a better life. The Symposium will be hosted by Beijing Forestry University and Beijing Botanical Garden, under the auspices of the International Society for Horticultural Sciences. Experts from all over the world will join the Symposium to share research results and up-to-date information and discuss common concerns with colleagues for international advancement of the taxonomy of cultivated plants. The proceedings will be published by the ISHS as a volume of the Acta Horticulturae.
