Cancer systems biology and precision medicine are entering a new stage of deep integration among multi-omics, artificial intelligence, and clinical translation. Facing complex issues such as tumor heterogeneity, immune evasion, metabolic reprogramming, epigenetic regulation, cerebrovascular disease mechanisms, and precision treatment decision-making, there is an urgent need to establish a high-level interdisciplinary, cross-domain, and inter-institutional platform to effectively bridge basic research, computational methods, clinical challenges, and industrial translation.
The 15th International Conference on Cancer Systems Biology (ICSB 2026) will be held from July 28 to August 2, 2026 at Shanghai West Suburb Hotel. This conference continues the academic tradition of the ICSB series, focusing on cancer systems biology, cancer immunology, cancer metabolism, epigenetics and 3D genomics, multi-omics and AI, cerebrovascular systems biology, clinical translation, and precision medicine, inviting scholars, clinicians, young researchers, journal editors, and industry representatives from around the world for in-depth exchange.
Main conference components include: 1. Lung Star Program Courses (July 28–30, 2026); 2. Systems Biology Young Scholars Forum (July 31, 2026); 3. Main International Conference ICSB (August 1–2, 2026); 4. Journal Editor Exchange Session; 5. Industry Exhibition and Industry-Academia-Research Collaboration.
Background: Since its inception, the International Conference on Cancer Systems Biology has consistently focused on interdisciplinary frontiers including systems biology, bioinformatics, precision medicine, and clinical translation, evolving into an integrated academic platform combining training courses, young scholar showcases, expert seminars, and collaborative exchanges. The uniqueness of ICSB lies not only in presenting cutting-edge research but also in connecting basic research, clinical needs, computational methodologies, and youth talent development.
The Young Scholars Forum is open to early-career researchers in oncology, bioinformatics, systems biology, clinical translation, artificial intelligence, and cerebrovascular disease research. Outstanding abstracts will be selected for oral presentations or poster displays, with expert feedback and discussion to support young scientists in showcasing achievements, refining research ideas, and expanding collaborative networks.
