Introduction

The Arctic is a vast and challenging environment, of particular interest to people working in the field of radar. Radar systems, developed to operate in a multi-sensor environment for deployment on space, air, ship and ground platforms will provide methods to remotely sense the environment and to monitor human activity. Arctic nations are looking to radar engineers for these solutions. “The Arctic – The New Frontier” theme for RadarCon13 was chosen to foster an environment for both scientific and operational exchange to enable those solutions. Bring your inspiration and your expertise – come to Ottawa! This year’s conference site is Canada’s newest meeting place – the Ottawa Convention Centre (OCC).
