Flame-retardant materials, as a critical cornerstone for fire safety in modern society, are undergoing a profound transformation—from single-function modification toward system-level integrated innovation. With the explosive transition of strategic emerging industries such as new-energy vehicles, low-altitude economy, high-density data centers, and aerospace, industry requirements for fire safety of materials have expanded beyond traditional flame-retardancy efficiency to include high reliability, thermal management integration, environmental friendliness, and full-life-cycle management.
This symposium will bring together scholars, researchers, industrial leaders, and certification experts from universities, research institutions, leading enterprises, and testing & certification bodies worldwide, aiming to provide a broad, interdisciplinary international academic and technical exchange platform for scientists, engineers, industrial practitioners, and young scholars engaged in fundamental research, process development, and large-scale manufacturing of flame-retardant materials.
The symposium is committed to returning to scientific fundamentals—breaking down barriers between academia, research, and industry; aligning with major global and national industrial demands; and facilitating in-depth discussions on core topics including flame-retardancy innovation, halogen-free and eco-friendly systems, high-performance polymer flame retardation, energy storage & electrical/electronic safety, flame-retardant applications in new energy & transportation, upgrading of building & public safety materials, and standards, regulations & industrial trends.
The symposium features six core thematic tracks. Topics for submission include (but are not limited to): Fundamental science and engineering design of flame-retardant materials; Industrialization and large-scale manufacturing of flame-retardant materials; Application innovations driven by emerging industries; Sustainable and green flame-retardant materials; Multi-functional composites and system integration; Digitalization and AI-driven flame-retardancy R&D.
