China Journal of Accounting Research 2013 Symposium

This symposium will bring together top scholars to present high quality research important to Asia and China. The Seventh China Journal of Accounting Research (CJAR) Symposium will be held in Sun Yat-sen University, China on November 15-16, 2013. The Department of Accountancy of the City University of Hong Kong and the Accounting Department, Sun Yat-sen University will co-sponsor this annual event. We welcome papers in any academic field within accounting, especially empirical studies that enrich our understanding of the institutional setting in China, the Greater China region and other emerging markets. Papers submitted for the Symposium should contain unpublished original research. All submissions are subject to a double-blind review process. Papers accepted for presentation at the Symposium will be regarded as submissions to the China Journal of Accounting Research. The papers, subject to a refereeing and selection process, will be scheduled for future publication in regular issues of CJAR or a special CJAR symposium issue in 2014.
