2013 International Symposium on Organic Reaction

It is great honor and privilege for the organizing committee to welcome fellow chemists and participants to Taipei, the city where the long tradition of ISOR symposium was initiated in 1988. The 11th International Symposium on Organic Reaction (ISOR 11-Taipei) will be held on November 19-22, 2013 at Howard International House Taipei. Our sincere gratitude goes out to all participants and attendees for your continuing support and kind efforts in making this conference possible. The International Symposium on Organic Reaction (ISOR) was initiated in Taipei (1988), followed by Kyoto (1991, 2nd), Tainan (1993, 3rd), Sendai (1996, 4th), Hsinchu (1998, 5th), Yokohama (2001, 6th), Kaoshiung (2003, 7th), Kobe (2006, 8th), Chiayi (2008, 9th) and Yokohama (2011, 10th). The scientific program of the ISOR 11-Taipei consists of 2 plenary lectures, 3 keynote lectures, 1 special invited lecture, 34 invited lectures, 54 short invited lectures, oral lectures and poster presentations. The ISOR will cover broad thematic topics including asymmetric synthesis, bioorganic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, green and natural products chemistry, new organic reactions, organic electrochemistry, material chemistry and organometallic chemistry in organic synthesis. ISOR-11 Taipei is being organized by the National Taiwan Normal University, National Tsing-Hua University and Institute of Chemistry, Academia Sinica and with support of National Science Council and National Taiwan Normal University.
