This special meeting will promote intellectual exchange among researchers interested in mitochondrial dynamics and its related topics, and facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration beyond the national boundaries. Moreover, researchers from the medical and pharmacological fields are expected to attend this meeting and gain new insights into the molecular basis of mitochondrial dynamics and its pathophysiology that would be relevant to their therapeutic and pharmaceutical approaches in the future.
