2013 International Conference on Microwave and Photonics (ICMAP)

In the last few years, rapid advances have been made in microwave electronics, photonics and ultrafast optics. The synergy of the three areas has given rise to a new research field of microwave photonics. Microwave photonics envisages study and application of photonic devices to microwaves, millimeter waves and terahertz frequencies. The present International Conference on Microwaves and Photonics (ICMAP 2013) is intended to provide a forum to discuss the state of art research in the advance areas of microwaves and photonics as well as the engendered area of microwave photonics. The Conference will be organized by Electronics Engineering Department, Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad at Dhanbad, India during December 13-15, 2013. I strongly believe that ICMAP 2013 will provide great opportunity of interaction among academicians, researchers and industry personnel in the various areas of microwaves and photonics. I welcome all delegates to Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, India for active participation in ICMAP 2013.
