Introduction
Asia-Pacific Conference on Plasma Science and Technology (APCPST) and Symposium on Plasma Science for Materials (SPSM) are jointly held biennially to survey the progress and exchange ideas in the field of low-temperature (thermal and non-equilibrium) plasmas. Meetings were held in Australia, China, Japan and Korea, attended by scientists from the Asia-Pacific and other countries. The 2008 conference will be held in Huangshan City (Yellow Mountains), China.
