Introduction
继第一届北京摩擦学国际会议（1993）、第二届摩擦学国际会议暨第一届亚太摩擦学国际会议（1998北京）、第三届摩擦学国际会议（2001北京）和第四届摩擦学国际会议（2004西安）后，第五届摩擦学国际会议暨第一届IFToMM摩擦学国际会议将于2008年9月24日-27日在北京召开。作为在中国举办的摩擦学系列国际学术会议，此次会议将为来自世界各地的摩擦学工作者提供一个交流和展示的平台。会议组委会真诚地欢迎摩擦学界同仁出席会议并提交论文。
