The 2nd China-Canada Winter Transportation Symposium

With the successful 1st China-Canada Winter Transportation Ssymposium (CCWT) in June 2012 in Canada, CHTS and CSCE have decided to promote the symposium to a long-term international brand, which provides a communication and cooperation platform to both two countries and even to the world. The 2nd China-Canada Winter Transportation Symposium and Exhibition will be held August 19-22, 2014 in Haerbin City, China. The 2ND CCWT will address critical issues and challenges emerging from the winter road conditions and transportation status, is to bring together transportation professionals from not only Canada and China, as well as America, Norway and Japan and other countries. All of the participants will discuss and share innovative ideas and latest advancements in strategies, methods and technologies related to the planning, maintenance, management and operations of winter transportation systems. The Winter Transportation Technology Exhibition will be also held in conjunction with the 2ND CCWT to showcase the latest achievements of research and practices in winter transportation operation, maintenance equipments, environmentally friendly ice and snow melting for road etc. As the hosts and organizers of the symposium, CSCE and CHTS warmly welcome transportation professionals at all levels from academia, industry, and government agencies to participate in and/or contribute to the 2ND CCWT.
