Symposium G1: Photocatalysis technologies and Materials

There has been remarkable progress in the field solar energy conversion, including photocatalysis, over the past four decades. The research, development, demonstration and commercialization in this principal field have attracted global interest from academia, government research laboratories and industry. Accordingly, the symposium will focus on the fundamental science of ceramic materials for energy and environmental technologies, and facilitate information sharing on the up-to-date developments and industrial applications of photocatalysis. ICC5, covering and merging recent developments in photocatalysis and solar energy conversion, is being organized with principal objectives to bring together interested parties from universities, research institutions and industry to exchange information, views, experience and perspectives. This session will present the most current findings generated at laboratories of universities and research institutions, as well as in the field by the practitioners.
