20th Symposium of the ICTM Study Group on Folk Musical Instruments

Dear ICTM Study Group on Folk Musical Instruments members, dear colleagues, dear students, dear friends, Please find attached call for papers for the 20th Symposium of the ICTM Study Group on Folk Musical Instruments to be held in Luang Prabang, Laos, from 10-13 June, 2015. The call for papers is early in order to ensure a good time for your preparation and for your travel arrangements. Details can be found in the attached call for papers, which will also be included in the next ICTM bulletin being published in short. Participants who are not yet a member of the Study Group and/or ICTM are welcome to submit abstracts. Anyone who wants to contribute to the topics proposed can participate. (Active membership in ICTM is expected for the year 2015. You can obtain membership status online at any time.) Please, do not hesitate to get back to me with any question that may arise. The program committee and the local organisation try their best to make all your plans fitting into the frame of this exciting event in an exciting place.
