14th Asian BioCeramic Symposium

It is our great honor to welcome you to the 14th Asian BioCeramics Symposium (ABC2014) which will be held in Shanghai, China from October 28th to 30th, 2014. The ABC symposium is held annually in Asian countries from 2001, gathering front-line researchers, scientists, engineers, manufacturer, dentists and surgeons from Asia and all over the world. Bioceramics is now widely developing in so many fields such as ceramic biomaterials and their composites, scaffolds for tissue engineering, biomimetics, bone cements, nano-bioceramics, surface modification and coatings of medical and dental implants, drug delivery, bioimaging and clinical trials and application of biocceramic, and so on. We hope that this symposium will give opportunity to present advanced research and to make hot and fruitful discussions for the present and future investigations. Shanghai is an international, modern and vibrant city. It is a global financial center, and a transport hub with the world's busiest container port. It is a popular tourist destination renowned for its historical landmarks such as The Bund, City God Temple and Yu Garden. It is also a major center of higher education in China with over 30 universities and colleges. A number of China's most prestigious universities are based in Shanghai, including Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Tongji University, East China Normal University, Shanghai University, Shanghai International Studies University, and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Also, Shanghai is very close to Suzhou and Hangzhou, two old and beautiful cities. On behalf of the local committee, it is our honor to cordially welcome all of you to the beautiful city Shanghai for this unique event.
