2014 Third Mediterranean Photonics Conference

The third edition of the Mediterranean Photonics Conference, will be held in Trani (Italy) after the successful past editions in Ischia (Italy, 2008) and Eilat (Israel, 2010). The objective is to create a specific workshop focused to recognize and evaluate the emerging ideas and technologies of photonic devices from the research levels to the commercial applications. Due to the incredible growth of new technologies and the wide diffusion of photonic devices in several application fields, the aim is to encourage contributions which describe developments targeted towards specific user applications in order to stimulate global and multidisciplinary approach towards future research, looking, at the same time, at new materials, technologies and techniques. The organization of the workshop will be devoted to create a colloquial and informal atmosphere in order to help the knowledge exchanges and the creation of new collaborations.
