Global change resulted from natural climatic change and human activities is modifying our living environment and the planet. The interactions between human activities and the Earth system and its physical environment are substantial, cumulative, and accelerating. Our understanding needs to be improved. The land surface remote sensing conference seeks papers about recent research achievements on remote sensing monitoring of energy, hydrological, biochemical cycles, land surface properties in the fields of vegetation, agriculture, forestry, surface water, and topography, prevention and mitigation of natural disasters, and management of natural resources. It focuses on the active and passive remote sensing technologies and applications of developments of visible, infrared and microwave sensors, satellite programs, and relevant topics.
