2014 Sino-Russian Symposium on Advanced Materials and Processing Technology

Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin reached a consensus to hold the “China-Russia Youth Year of Friendship Exchanges in 2014 to 2015”, which includes series of significant activities of cultural and people-to-people exchanges, aimed to deepen the understanding and friendship between the young people of the two countries, and the concepts of passing on bilateral friendship from generation to generation. In order to enhance the communication between the young scientists of the two countries, to promote scientific and technological innovation and economic modernization. Ministry of Science and Technology of People’s Republic of China decided to bring the “2014 Sino-Russian Symposium on Advanced Materials and Processing Technology” into “2014 Sino-Russian Young Scientists Forum”, and especially to add parallel session “Sino-Russian Young Ph.D. Students Forum”, to comprehensively promote high-level talent education programs of the two countries. We are looking forward to more Ph.D. students from both countries to attend the Symposium. “2014 Sino-Russian Symposium on Advanced Materials and Processing Technology” is being organized with a view to provide a forum for academics, researchers and engineers to present paper on recent advances and to meet and exchange information on all aspects of materials and processing technologies. The event will be held from Jun 3rd to Jun 5th 2014, in Qingdao, P.R. China.
