3rd International Collaboration Meeting on Antarctic Survey Telescopes

Thanks to China’s 29th Antarctica Expedition led by State Oceanic Administration, the first observational data set achieved by the first Antarctic Survey Telescope (AST3-1) at Dome A, Antarctica, was brought back to ChineseCenter for Antarctic Astronomy. We are planning to hold an international collaboration meeting in Nanjing from June 5 - 8 of 2014. The meeting will cover the following topics: 1) AST3: a) Mohe test results, b) 2014/2015 traverse plan, c) AST3-3 NIR science and progress, d) AST3 and ASKAP surveys of transients; 2) KDUST: a) Progress report - engineering, and sciences, b) Progress report - international collaborations; 3) Future opportunities and collaborations: a) EU 2020 vision, b) z Equals 20 from Antarctica (zETA).
