2014 International Workshop for Young Civil Engineers

In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Japan Society of Civil Engineers (JSCE) 2014, an international workshop will be held for young civil engineers, titled ‘Facing the Challenges of Our Future Society’, where engineers from Japan (including international students) and overseas will discuss the challenges facing our future society. In the workshop, participants will imagine our world in 2050 and consider the problems we will face and the role of civil engineers play in achieving a better society. This event will provide an opportunity for a frank exchange of views on the future of our society among current and future young civil engineers.
