History of Conference “Problems of Present-day Electrotechnics” History of the conference began in 1969 when the first Scientific Conference on electrical energy conversion was hold in Kyiv. It was the first large gathering of scientists and engineers, theoreticians and practitioners, representatives of various companies and organizations – specialists in the field of converting machinery and power electronics; gathering where almost all main problems of electrical energy and power conversion were discussed.
