We look forward to welcoming our friends and colleagues both from abroad and China. COFIL2014 is the fifth of a very successful series of conferences organized every 2 years. The previous editions took place in Quebec (Canada) in 2006, Paris (France) in 2008, Crete (Greece) in 2010 and Tucson (USA) in 2012. COFIL2014 aims at bringing together scientists working in the field of femtosecond laser filamentation in transparent optical media and applications, as well as scientists from other fields interested in this research field to discuss present status and future perspectives. Join us and we would like to share with you the new achievements on femtosecond laser filamentation and its applications. We are sure you will enjoy not only the exchange of laser scientific and technical information but also the memorable experience in China.
