The 1st International Workshop on Frontiers in Quantum Optics and Quantum Information: Quantum Computing with Electron

It is a great pleasure for us to announce The 1st International Workshop on Frontiers in Quantum Optics and Quantum Information: Quantum Computing with Electron Spin Qubits, which will be held in Beijing from July 3 to 5, 2014. The workshop is organized by Beijing Computational Science Research Center (CSRC) and Kavli Institute of Theoretical Physics China (KITPC), as a kickoff meeting for the Electron Spin Qubit (theoretical) program at KITPC. The main objective of this workshop is to provide a comprehensive review of the current status and future directions of research on electron spin qubits for quantum computing, particularly in GaAs, Silicon, and Carbon. The setup of the workshop should allow free interactions among experts from different fields, and exchanges between experimentalists and theorists. This workshop is open to experts in the fields related to electron spin qubits, and scientists and graduate students who are interested in this general direction of research.
