The 9th International Symposium on Ceramic Materials and Components for Energy and Environmental Applications is the continuation of the International Symposium on Ceramic Materials and Components for Engines series, held every three years for the last 32 years in Asia, Europe and America, in rotation. This series of conferences has been established as a global high-level event on ceramic materials and innovations for engines materials and technologies. As the energy and environmental crisis is threatening the sustainable development of the world, and more ceramic research has been redirected to energy and environmental applications, the title of the series is from now on changed into Ceramic Materials and Components for Energy and Environmental Applications to reflect this new focus.
