Introduction
The Seventh China-Japan Workshop on Microgravity Sciences (C-JWMS2008) is the successor to the sixth Japan-China Workshop held in Saga, Japan in October 2005. This workshop will be held in Hangzhou which is one of the seven ancient capitals and the key scenic tourism and historical culture cities in China. This city once was applauded as "the most splendid and luxurious city in the world" by Marco Polo, the Italian traveler in the 13th century.
