7th International Brachiopod Congress (IBC)

The 7th International Brachiopod Congress will be held between May 22 and 25, 2015 in Nanjing, China. The theme of the congress will be “The Brachiopod World”. Scientists around the world who are interested in fossil and living brachiopods and related topics are invited to attend the 7th International Brachiopod Congress (IBC). The Congress venue will be the Nanjing International Conference Hotel in the vicinity of Nanjing city proper on the foot of the beautiful Purple Mountain (Fig. 1), where more than 200 heritage and scenic tourist sites are located together with more than 620 species of vascular plants. The Congress will include keynote speeches, scientific sessions, posters, pre- and post-conference field excursions. Within the 4-day in-door meeting, all of our distinguished colleagues will have opportunity to refresh, update, and exchange their knowledge on Brachiopoda and related areas. As always, the congress will bring the internationally known scientists together to share experiences and ideas on the latest developments of the brachiopod study.
