Introduction

The 8th Conference of Contemporary Chinese Discourse Studies will be jointly organized by Inner Mongolia University of Technology, Inner Mongolia University, Hangzhou Normal University and Zhejiang University in Hohhot from August 26 to August 28, 2015. Inner Mongolia University of Technology will play the host.

They are broadly defined in, but not limited to, the following: Theories, categories and methods of contemporary Chinese discourse studies Contemporary Chinese diplomatic discourses (related to politics, economy, national defense or security) Contemporary Chinese literature (especially that of ethnic groups) Contemporary Chinese professional discourses (especially in education, health or business) Contemporary Chinese ecological and environmental discourses
