10th Annual Meeting of the International Conference on Genomics (ICG-10)

On behalf of the organizing committee, I am honored to invite you to participate in the 10th Annual Meeting of the International Conference on Genomics (ICG-10) on October 22-25, 2015, in Shenzhen, China. This year, we are going to celebrate the 10th anniversary of ICG, which first took place on October 23-25, 2006. ICG has become one of the most influential annual meetings in ‘omics’ research, and is one of the most dynamic, enthusiastic, and enjoyable scientific international gatherings. ICG has brought us together, to work, to share and to communicate – promoting extremely productive and interesting scientific endeavors. ICG is not only about achieving scientific excellence, it is also about cultivating a culture of collaboration. ICG-10 will mark the beginning of a new cycle, as we observe how ‘omics’ research will further transform scientific discoveries into better treatments, and promote better health in the next decade. Furthermore, at ICG-10 we are covering ‘omics’ research in more subject areas, including single-molecule analyses, genome editing, synthetic genomics, phenotyping, bioinformatics, and comprehensive analyses of continually expanding big datasets. And the list ontinues: embracing topics on publishing and data accessibility, reproducibility of results and data privacy, novel funding mechanisms such as crowd-sourcing, as well as issues surrounding bioethics and social implications, which are becoming increasingly important for assessing the success and health of research in the world today. ICG-10 will bring together the most influential intellectual leaders and top scientists, as well as cover the hottest topics and the best practical applications.
