Description

The IEEE International Conference on Software Maintenance and Evolution is a renowned forum for researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, experiences, and challenges in software maintenance and evolution. ICSME 2015 will be held at the University of Bremen in Northern Germany. The city of Bremen is famous for the tale of the Town Musicians of Bremen, in which a donkey, a dog, a cat, and a rooster, all past their prime years in life, were soon to be discarded. To escape their unfortunate faith, they joined forces and decided to become a group of musicians at Bremen. The analogy to legacy software is obvious. Even outdated software can remain successful if it is well integrated. Hence, Bremen is a place of successful maintenance since the 18th century when this tale was written down by the brothers Grimm.
