2015 International Workshop on Communications and Smart Grid

2015 (3nd) International Workshop on Communications and Smart Grid (IWCSG 2015), in conjunction with ICSGCE 2015, will be held in 20-23 October 2015 at Offenburg University of Applied Sciences, Offenburg, Germany. IWCSG aims to provide a platform for participants to establish business or research relationships and to find the partners for future collaboration. The smart grid will transform the way power is delivered, consumed, and accounted for. Adding modern communication technology through the newly networked grid will increase grid reliability and power quality, improve responsiveness, increase efficiency, and provide a platform for new applications. The workshop is dedicated to building an interdisciplinary community to gain a better understanding of how anomalies information and communications technologies (ICT) can affect the smart grid, and what can be done about it. And also about how better ICT can help improve smart grid resilience and efficiency. IWCSG 2015 is sponsored and hosted by Offenburg University of Applied Sciences (Germany). It is also sponsored by University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (China) and American University of Sharjah (UAE).
