13th International Conference On Concrete Engineering & Technology (CONCET 2016)

CONCET is a biennial conference jointly organized by Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), University of Malaya (UM), and The institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM), chaired on a rotational basis.

CONCET will provide a forum for engineers, academics and researchers to share their knowledge, expertise and experience in relation to concrete engineering and technology. CONCET 2016 is the 13th meeting of the minds after the inaugural CONCET conducted in 1989.

The conference also aims to provide a forum to discuss state-of-the-art practices and recent developments in research methodologies, directions and related issues in concrete engineering and technology.

The theme “Empowering Innovation and Sustainable Future” expresses the comprehensive range of issues and developments that will be highlighted in this conference. Special emphasis will be given to green technologies, sustainable materials, robust designs as well as maintenance and repair of concrete structures. Most of the recent reported findings in the area of concrete engineering and technology will be discussed in utilizing this knowledge for the development of sustainable and durable concrete.
