Introduction
he First EAGE Conference on Geophysics for Mineral Exploration and Mining provides an international forum for sharing the recent advances, trending topics and novel methods of the use of geophysical techniques in the mining industry. Even though European research groups have contributed significantly to the development and application of geophysical methods, this will be the first conference with a focus on geophysics in mineral exploration and mining, organized by the EAGE in Europe.
