The 13th ASLI Conference

It is our pleasure to announce the Call for Papers for the 13th ASLI Conference, to be held at Peking University Law School, Beijing from May 19th to May 20th 2016.

The 13th ASLI Conference brings together academics and professionals around Asia and the world, to exchange knowledge related to the theme Asian Perspectives on Legal Globalization.

As globalization changes the contours of law, we would like to invite papers on new legal practices, legal norms, global legal institutions, and global legal education brought on by globalization in Asia. We particularly welcome any insightful papers on how culture and ethnicity affects legal globalization and future trend of disputes resolution.

This will be the first time that the ASLI Conference will be in Peking University Law School in the capital of China-Beijing and we expect to see papers and discussions on promoting cooperation among Chinese legal institutions and those of other Asian countries. We highly encourage academics and professionals from China to share their knowledge of legal practices in China in the age of globalization with their peers around Asia.

We highly encourage you to be creative and challenging with the theme of the 13th ASLI Conference. We look forward to welcoming you to the Peking University Law School in May 2016 as we take the next steps forward together in partnership, meeting the challenges as well as opportunities of legal globalization.
