Soil pollution has become a global environmental issue. Much effort has been spent on sustainable use and management of the polluted soil environment.
The SOILREM 2016 conference will provide an opportunity for industry, regulators, scientists, students, engineers, private and public sectors to present recent (applied) research findings and to exchange information on innovative developments relating to sustainable use, management and remediation of polluted soils, sediments, groundwater, and industrial sites. Conference topics cover important aspects of the environmental behavior of emerging contaminants, ecological and human health risk assessment of contaminated soil/sites, and fundamental research and development of innovative physical, chemical and biological technologies for soil remediation and soil monitoring.
The SOILREM 2016 follows the very successful SOILREM 2012, SOILREM 2008, SOILREM 2004 and SOILREM 2000 conferences held in Yantai, Nanjing and Hangzhou in the past decades. The upcoming SOILREM 2016 will be held from 24-26 September, 2016 in Hangzhou, China.
