Introduction

ICTAS2017 is technically sponsored by the IEEE South Africa Section, approval number #38851 Information Communication and Technology (ICT) is playing an increasing role in society and within our lives. Recognising this growing role, this conference will provide a forum for researchers in both academe and industry to share their latest research contributions in the field, while promoting networking of people and ideas.

This conference includes invited keynote and oral presentations on 9 and 10 March 2017 with an opportunity on 8 March 2017 to take advantages of the multitude of tours available to explore the many fascinating facets of South Africa before the conference.
