The 2016 Asian Meeting of the Econometric Society (AMES2016) will be hosted by the Institute of Economic Research, Kyoto University and Doshisha University, Japan on August 11-13, 2016.
Revealed “profit inequalities” (the analogue of revealed preference), the properties of disturbances, and the use of moment inequalities in analyzing the choices made by firms (examples include the estimation of fixed costs, ordered choices, and bargaining models).
“Comparative Preferences” and the uses of moment inequalities in analyzing the discrete choices made by consumers (examples include errors in the right hand side variables, unobserved choice specific heterogeneity, and state dependence).
Econometric issues that arise in using moment inequalities (explanations of the uniformity and computational issues, and notes on how to deal with them)。
