Introduction

The Robotics and Computer Vision Challenge is an International Competition, technically co-sponsored by IEEE, which aims to gather participants from academia and industry working in the field of robotics, computer vision, and related areas.
The competition welcomes innovative contributions unfolding technical advances in the area of autonomous robotics: Original ideas and designs, novel discoveries and enhancements, new applications on the latest fundamental advances in computer vision, as well as outstanding developmental projects.
This competition is organized within the 5th International Conference on Multimedia Computing and Systems (ICMCS’16), to be held at Kenzi-Farah Hotel in Marrakech, Morocco from 29 September to 1st October 2016.
Robotics and Computer Vision Challenge is a call for innovative technologies, or realizations in robotics domain. The contest is open to teams worldwide who are able to present a project that has been already prototyped and tested experimentally. Projects to be submitted to the challenge are expected to be based on computer vision techniques.
All selected Finalist Teams will be invited to register online in order to defend their projects on September 28th, 2016, and participate & exhibit their realizations in the ICMCS’16 September 29-30, 2016.
An international jury of renowned experts will select the 3 best projects among finalists and the winners will get valuable prizes.
